Current and former players went after longtime Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy after a Facebook photo showed him on vacation wearing an OAN shirt. OAN, which was the subject of as Last Week Tonight segment in April, is known for its far-right conspiracy theories and for trashing the Black Lives Matter movement as "a farce" that wants African-Americans “to be above the law because of your skin color.” "I will not stand for this.. This is completely insensitive to everything going on in society, and it’s unacceptable," tweeted star running back Chuba Hubbard in reaction to the photo. "I will not be doing anything with Oklahoma State until things CHANGE." After players joined him, Gundy on Tuesday filmed a video denouncing OAN. "I want to apologize to all members of our team, former players and their families for the pain and discomfort that has been caused over the past two days,” Gundy said. “Black Lives Matter to me, our players matter to me.” In April, Gundy told reporters he had begun watching OAN amid the pandemic. “I was flipping thru stations. I found one — I don't even know if anybody knows about this — it's called OAN," he said at the time. "It's One America News. And it was so refreshing. They just report the news. There's no commentary. There's no opinions on this."
