Oscar-winning The Hurt Locker writer Mark Boal to pen ABC's 9/11 limited series

Boal, who was also nominated for an Oscar for writing Zero Dark Thirty, will adapt Mitchell Zuckoff's book Fall and Rise: The Story of 9/11 for the limited series timed with the Sept. 11 tragedy's 20th anniversary in 2021.
