Oscars' Original Song performances will be pretaped, performed on the Academy Museum rooftop

The long-delayed Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Museum, which is scheduled to open on Sept. 30, will be featured prominently on the April 25 ceremony. The pretaped performances will showcase a dramatic backdrop while plugging the museum, which was originally supposed to open this month.
