Barak Goodman’s Woodstock: Three Days That Defined a Generation is, in contrast to Michael Wadleigh’s Oscar-winning 1970 film Woodstock, focuses more on the creation, the logistics and the on-the-ground feel of the concert festival that turns 50 next week. The film, says Spencer Kornhaber, "reinforces the sense that Woodstock was somewhat a product of naïveté, and that it took advantage of an era in which rules were less calcified than they are today."
