Wesley, who turns 36 on Monday, is tired of playing teenagers. The CBS All Access drama is his first regular TV role since the end of The Vampire Diaries last year. "I'm a man in my mid 30s," he said with a laugh at Comic-Con. "I was playing a 17-year-old and now I get to play a man in my 30s." Tell Me a Story reunites Wesley with The Vampire Diaries co-creator Kevin Williamson. "If you love The Vampire Diaries then I think you'll love this a lot," Williamson said at Comic-Con. "We pack in so much rapid storytelling. We go a mile a minute but we slow down for the emotional moments. We have cliffhangers which I love to write. Because of cable and streaming we get to go to some new places."
