Jean Schulz, 78, was able to leave her Santa Rosa home before flames engulfed it on Monday. The cartoonist lived in the home from the 1970s until his death in 2000. "It's the house he died in. All of their memorabilia and everything is all gone," her stepson, Monte Schulz, said. Still, most of Schulz’s artwork and memorabilia are stored at the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center in Santa Rosa, which escaped the flames.
