Perry Mason premieres to strong numbers on HBO, topping Watchmen

The Matthew Rhys-led period drama attracted 1.7 million viewers across all platforms, more than Watchmen's 1.5 million for its premiere and The Outsider's 1.2 million. Perry Mason also matched the Season 3 premiere of Westworld.
