The Democratic presidential candidate described his TV-watching habits with The Hollywood Reporter, saying he usually catches a TV show before bed but rarely binges. "Usually Family Guy or Rick and Morty is on as I’m drifting off," he said. "I'm trying to get into Succession but I’m struggling. I need a character to root for and I haven't decided if any of them are good people." Buttigieg added that he considers Game of Thrones the best show about politics and relates to Tyrion the most. Asked if he relates to anybody on Veep, Buttigieg responded: "You don't really want to identify with anybody on that show. The only character with any kind of moral purity to them is Gary, the body guy. But it's not like you really want to be him."
