An NYPD officer was sent to NBC's Saturday Night Live studios Saturday afternoon to check up on Davidson after he raised alarms with an ominous Instagram post, before deleting his account, in which he wrote: "I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last. All I’ve ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so." Separately, an NBC representative contacted the NYPD to say Davidson was at work and was fine. Davidson didn't appear in any of SNL's live sketches Saturday night -- he did play Rami Malek in a pretaped Oscars host audition sketch. Davidson later appeared live to introduce musical guests Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson. Davidson has been outspoken about his mental health struggles, specifically with Borderline Personality Disorder. He addressed his mental health in September in a candid interview with Howard Stern.
