Premiere week winners and losers: All the new shows are "losers," and so are Thursday comedies

As Variety notes, last week saw historically low live+same day ratings for new shows across the four major networks. Fox's Prodigal Son was the top new show in the demo, but even its debut wasn't impressive. Meanwhile, comedies on Thursday night struggled following The Big Bang Theory's exit, including spinoff Young Sheldon. Meanwhile, Grey's Anatomy emerged as a winner with its Season 16 premiere, the top scripted show of Thursday night.
