President Trump wants to interrupt primetime on Tuesday to talk about the border, but at least two networks are reluctant

The New York Times' Michael M. Grynbaum reports that "at least TWO major networks still deliberating – skepticism about handing over airwaves for political statement." President Trump is scheduled to visit the U.S.-Mexico border on Tuesday. UPDATE: Trump tweets he'll address the nation at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, but no word on if networks will carry the address. Meanwhile, an anonymous TV executive tells CNN's Brian Stelter of the debate over giving Trump airtime: "He calls us fake news all the time, but needs access to airwaves… If we give him the time, he'll deliver a fact-free screed without rebuttal. And if we don't give him the time, he'll call every network partisan. So we are damned if we do and damned if we don't."
