The streaming service has given a straight-to-series 10-episode order to a “horror-tinged, coming-of-rage" reboot of Pretty Little Liars from Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. The reboot, which will be written by Aguirre-Sacasa's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina collaborator Lindsay Calhoon Bring, was revealed earlier this month. “Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart,” reads the official show description. “Now, in the present day, a group of disparate teen girls — a brand-new set of Little Liars — find themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay for the secret sin their parents committed two decades ago. as well as their own.” ALSO: Watch Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin's teaser.
