TMZ reports that prosecutors in Chicago's Cook County "hit him with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse Friday morning. That charge is a class 2 felony in Illinois, and each charge carries a max sentence of 3 to 7 years in prison." The Lifetime docuseries Surviving R. Kelly put a spotlight last month on the R&B singer's history of sexual abuse, helping pave the way for today's indictments.
