Zellweger tells Harper's Bazaar she was inspired to sign up for the Drew and Jonathan Scott's Celebrity IOU after seeing Brad Pitt re-doing his friend’s garage with the help of the Property Brothers stars. She wanted to participate in the show in tribute to friend and publicist Nanci Ryder, who died from ALS in 2020 at the age of 67. But instead of signing up for Celebrity IOU, Zellweger inadvertently agreed to do spinoff Celebrity IOU: Joyride, hosted by Anstead.
