Zellwegger is the latest Oscar winner who's headed to television. She'll star in the Netflix morality anthology series What/If from Revenge creator Mike Kelley, who will serve as showrunner. What/If is described "as a social thriller that explores the ripple effects of what happens when acceptable people start doing unacceptable things," according to The Hollywood Reporter. "Each season will tackle a different morality tale inspired by culturally consequential source material, and the power of a single fateful decision to change the trajectory of an entire life." Zellwegger's character will be named Anne, with further details being kept under wraps. Zellweger's last major TV roles included early 1990s TV movies, from USA's 1992 film A Taste for Killing to 1994 Showtime movie Shake, Rattle and Rock!
