Report: American Idol is offering Disney perks after using $35M of its $40M talent budget on Katy Perry and Ryan Seacrest

Perry’s $25 million per season deal and Seacrest’s “just over” $10 million has left little room to hire other judges, according to TMZ. So ABC is offering Disney perks, including “production deals, licensing and merchandising deals for Disney properties.”
