Report: CNN's Chris Cuomo received preferential treatment from brother Gov. Andrew Cuomo when he was tested amid coronavirus test shortage

The New York governor allegedly ordered that his family members, including CNN's Cuomo, receive preferential COVID testing treatment during the early days of the pandemic, when coronavirus tests were hard to obtain, according to a report in the Albany Times-Union. Chris Cuomo announced he had tested positive on March 31. The newspaper reports that testing of Andrew Cuomo's family members were often done by high-level members of the state Health Department, often at private homes.
