Report: Oscars will allow only two nominated songs to be performed live

Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “All the Stars” from Black Panther and Lady Gaga’s “Shallow” from A Star Is Born will be the only original songs to be performed at the Feb. 24 ceremony, reports Variety.  The other three nominees will likely be acknowledged when the original song category is awarded. A source tells Variety that the decision was likely made to shorten the ceremony as it attempts to come in at three hours.
