The veteran of Drag Race Season 8 and Drag Race All Stars Season 3 died less than a week after saying on Instagram Live that she was back in the hospital for suspected kidney failure. "Keep me in your prayers. I'll be back soon," DeVayne said in a video message shared Saturday morning, which showed her attached to medical equipment while laying down in a hospital bed, according to EW. In July, DeVayne -- the stage name of Zavion Davenport -- was hospitalized with high blood pressure and suspected kidney failure, telling fans she had catheters to her heart and kidneys surgically installed before undergoing dialysis treatment. She was eventually discharged later that month. Drag Race production company World of Wonder tweeted the news of DeVayne's death: "We're heartbroken to learn that Chi Chi DeVayne has passed away today. Her drag spread a message of love and kindness that truly touched each person she met. Rest in power, Chi Chi."
