SAG Awards to feature only female presenters

With Kristen Bell serving as the first-ever host of the Screen Actors Guild Awards, executive producer Kathy Connell decided to go with all female presenters to honor the #metoo movement. “I feel pretty strongly about the women’s movement,” she says. “Women stepped forward in such a huge way in this last year.” Bell adds: “I’m not the first female host. I’m the first host. The fact that a female was chosen to be the first one means my genitals become irrelevant.”
