SNL co-head writer Anna Drezen is exiting to work on her Freeform animated comedy Praise Petey

Drezen was promoted last season to become a Saturday Night Live head writer along with Michael Che, Colin Jost and Kent Sublette. Drezen, who also writes for Girls5Eva, recently celebrated the news that her Freeform animated comedy had been picked up. Praise Petey stars Annie Murphy, John Cho and Christine Baranski with The King of the Hill co-creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels on board as executive producers.
