NBC announced that Saturday Night Live is scheduled to be back in its normal timeslot Saturday for a one-off episode featuring a special quarantine version of "Weekend Update" and other original content from cast members. There will be no host. SNL's Twitter account teased the special by showing all the cast members on Zoom. SNL aired its last episode before the coronavirus shutdown on March 7 with host Daniel Craig. SNL's next episode, scheduled for March 28 with host John Krasinski and musical guest Dua Lipa, had to be scrapped. The SNL family has been particularly affected by coronavirus this week. On Sunday, Michael Che lost his grandmother to the virus. SNL is also mourning the loss of longtime sketch music producer Hal Willner, who died Tuesday of complications from coronavirus.
