SNL writer Julio Torres lands an HBO comedy special

Torres is responsible for the some of Saturday Night Live's most memorable sketches, including "Papyrus." He also wrote Emma Stone's recent "The Actress" sketch. Torres is currently co-starring with Fred Armisen on HBO's Los Espookys, which Lorne Michaels is producing. Michaels and Armisen will also produce Torres' HBO comedy special.
