SNL's Cecily Strong receives a beer-filled care package from Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer after impersonating her

Strong's "Message from Gov. Whitmer" sketch was cut for time, yet it has been the second most-watched YouTube video from the second SNL At Home episode after Brad Pitt's Dr. Fauci cold open. In the sketch, Strong's Whitmer is "nursing on" Canadian Labatt Blue beer. In response, Whitmer took issue with the choice of beer, telling a local TV station: "We love Canada, but we drink Michigan beer!” On Saturday, Strong posted an image of a care package she received from Whitmer, featuring as assortment of beers and goodies. "Got a giant and gorgeous Michigan care package sent to New York courtesy of that super cool woman from Michigan," Strong wrote. "Thank you @gewhitmer !!! Honestly, this blew me away!
