The Iranian-American host of Netflix's Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat was one of many who blasted New York Times columnist Paul Krugman after he tweeted this morning that "there wasn't a mass outbreak of anti-Muslim sentiment and violence" in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. Nosrat, who was a UC Berkeley student at the time of the attacks, tweeted in response: "THIS IS F*CKING INSANE!!!!! I was spit on--SPIT ON!!-- in BERKELEY F*CKING CALIFORNIA on 9/12 for being brown. I cried daily, lived in fear for my brothers and uncles (still do), get flagged by TSA every time I come home from abroad, and so much more. And I have it GOOD!!!"
