Scott Pelley deletes social media posts falsely claiming Egyptian authorities wanted to arrest over 60 Minutes interview

The former CBS Evening News anchor deleted posts to Twitter and Instagram on Thursday morning suggesting a warrant was out for his arrest for his recent interview with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. A CBS spokesperson tells NBC News: “Pelley’s post was in error and has been taken down.”
