Mayor Bill de Blasio honored the iconic kids' show this morning by renaming the corner of W. 63rd Street and Broadway "Sesame Street." He was joined by several of the HBO/PBS series' stars, including Big Bird and Elmo. “I hope at some point in these proceedings I get formally introduced to a long lost relative of mine his name is Big Bird you may have heard of him, never met him in person,” the 6-foot-5 de Blasio said to scattered laughter from the crowd.
