Shannyn Sossamon no longer playing Fox's The Cleaning Lady

The Wayward Pines and Sleepy Hollow alum was set to return to Fox, playing the title role of a whip-smart Filipina doctor who becomes the on-call cleaning lady for the mob in the drama pilot. But after a table read, the lead role is being tweaked. As Deadlines notes, recastings aren't unusual or a bad sign. Last year, Tom Payne replaced Finn Jones in the title role of Fox's Prodigal Son, which has become the top freshman network show this season.
