Shonda Rhimes: I shouldn't be the only straight producer responsible for a large number of LGBTQ roles

A new GLAAD report found that Rhimes, Ryan Murphy, Lena Waithe and Greg Berlanti are solely responsible for the majority of queer characters on TV. To which Rhimes tweeted: "You know what bugs me?  I’m the only straight person on this list.  That is not okay.  It’s like the same problem with ANY kind of diversity.  White people don’t do their job when it comes to representing people of color. Straight people don’t do their job when it comes to representing queer people.  WHY? (and PS: I’m not suggesting I’m special — most of this work was done by @KristaVernoff!)"
