Mike Binder's documentary on the iconic comedy club ended last week with a focus on cancel culture. But as Dustin Rowles points out, The Comedy Store went too extending the cancel culture debate to CK. Binder convened a panel of comedians including Whitney Cummings, Joe Rogan, Jay Leno and Bill Burr who said CK has been unfairly treated over his sexual misconduct scandal. “How long do you punish somebody?” Binder asked. Meanwhile, Binder interviewed CK and told him that his sexual misconduct scandal will make him “such a better comic." CK agreed. “I think comedy should be better when things are harder," said CK. "That should be the case.”
