Slave Play playwright Jeremy O. Harris signs an overall deal with HBO

Harris' HBO deal will allow him to develop TV projects and continue supporting his theater work. "Jeremy is a singular talent whose groundbreaking work in the theatrical space has already revolutionized Broadway and we couldn’t be more honored to expand the reach of his voice in television," says HBO Programming executive vice president Francesca Orsi. Harris' Slave Play recently ended its Broadway run after winning the Kennedy Center's 2018 Rosa Parks Playwriting Award.
