Snowpiercer to premiere two weeks ahead of schedule amid coronavirus pandemic

The long-gestating TNT adaptation of Oscar-winning Parasite director Bong Joon Ho’s 2013 movie will now premiere on Sunday, May 17 instead of the previously planned May 31. The date change is in response to people staying home in quarantine during the pandemic. “It is extremely important that we continue with our promise to meet audiences where they are, and to that effect, we are moving up Snowpiercer’s premiere so that fans can enjoy this futuristic series even earlier," says Brett Weitz, general manager for TNT, TBS and Tru TV.
