Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has yet another Starz show in the works, in addition to his Power franchise. Black Mafia Family, which he's working on with Power producer Randy Huggins, is "inspired by the true story of two brothers who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980s and gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in this country," per Variety. "Demetrius 'Big Meech' Flenory’s charismatic leadership, combined with Terry 'Southwest T' Flenory’s business acumen allows and the duo to take their vision beyond the drug trade and into the world of Hip Hop." 50 Cent says of the series: “I told you Black Mafia Family was coming and it’s going to be the biggest show on television. Meech and Terry are legends and I am excited to bring their story to Starz.”
