Storm Chasers star Joel Taylor dies at 38

The cause of death hasn’t been revealed and Discovery Channel has yet to comment, but his death is not believed to be related to storm chasing. “We chased so many intense storms, and I wish we could have just one more storm chase. I’ll miss you forever, Joel. We lost a legend,” tweeted co-star Reed Timmer, who went to college with Taylor. UPDATE: TMZ reports Taylor died aboard a cruise ship, possibly from a drug overdose.
