Early numbers show that 24.5 million viewers tuned in for Anderson Cooper's sitdown with the porn star, who detailed her alleged affair with Donald Trump. Those are the best ratings since Steve Kroft's interview with Barack and Michelle Obama after he won the presidency in 2008. The high ratings are despite a 35-minute delay of the interview in the Eastern and Central time zones due to NCAA basketball overtime. The delay meant that 60 Minutes was scooped by itself because CBS News allowed publications such as Entertainment Weekly, The Daily Beast and Deadline to post details of the interview at 7 p.m. E.T.
