TLC is “very comfortable” working with Carter Oosterhouse following a sexual assault allegation

Oosterhouse didn’t attend today’s TV press tour session with the Trading Spaces cast. After Oosterhouse was accused by his former makeup artist of coercing her to perform oral sex on him on the set of HGTV show Carter Can, TLC president and general manager Nancy Daniels said an investigation was launched. “We did look into the allegations," she said. "We also looked into everything that we did throughout our production on this (run) of Trading Spaces, and we take it all very seriously. At the end of the day, we feel very comfortable continuing with Carter in the show."
