Taran Killam agrees that getting dumped from SNL was a blessing in disguise

Killam says “it certainly worked out to my benefit” that he was axed from Saturday Night Live before last season, as it gave him the chance to devote time to post-production on his new film with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Killing Gunther, which was filming when he was informed he wouldn’t be back. Killam also got the once-in-a-lifetime chance to join the cast of Hamilton.  “Without a doubt. Definitely, definitely,” he said when asked if it was a blessing in disguise. "When a divine entity closes a door, a window opens. And certainly I had multiple open windows. And a set of French doors.”
