Alec Baldwin's new talk show, which will emphasize lengthy sit-down interviews, is something rarely done in broadcast primetime. But as Variety points out, "the Sunday 10 p.m. time slot has been such a challenge for ABC in recent years that there’s not much to lose by giving Baldwin a shot."
