The Crown casts Jonathan Pryce as its final Prince Philip

The Oscar-nominated Game of Thrones alum will star opposite Imelda Staunton's Queen Elizabeth II for Seasons 5 and 6 of the Netflix drama, taking over the Duke of Edinburgh role from Tobias Menzies and Matt Smith. Pryce earned his first Oscar nomination earlier this year playing Pope Francis in The Two Popes. Pryce famously played the High Sparrow on Game of Thrones. He recently recurred on Amazon's Tales from the Loop.
