CBS president and acting CEO Joe Ianniello revealed this morning at a CBS shareholders meeting that the broadcast network is strongly considering airing the third season of The Good Fight to promote awareness of The Good Wife spinoff and CBS All Access, according to Variety. The Good Fight was the first original drama to premiere on CBS All Access, in February 2017. But as Variety's Cynthia Littleton reports: "The series has been widely praised by critics but some observers have wondered if CBS is making the most of the show by keeping it as an All Access exclusive. All Access at present is believed to have about 4 million subscribers." Season 3 concluded on May 16. CBS hopes a summer run will drive subscriptions to CBS All Access in time for Season 4 early next year. UPDATE: CBS makes it official, announcing The Good Fight will premiere on network TV on June 16 with bleeping. Episodes 1 and 2 of Season 3 will air back to back on Sunday, June 16, Episodes 3 and 4 will air on June 23. The remaining episodes will air weekly at 10 p.m. on Sundays starting June 30. The Good Fight's addition to the CBS lineup pushes back the premiere of Instinct, from June 16 to June 30.
