The Mandalorian has begun pre-production on Season 3

Variety reports that creator Jon Favreau has been “writing season 3 for a while,” that executive creative director Doug Chiang has been creating concepts for Season 3 “for the past few weeks" and that the production design department began working on season 3 on Monday. News of The Mandalorian beginning work on Season 3 comes a month after Season 2 wrapped production ahead of the coronavirus shutdown.
