The mother of a man who was killed in 2017 in Texas in a crash involving two stars of The Weather Channel reality show Storm Wranglers has filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against the cable network. The two storm chasers were also killed in the collision after running a stop sign at about 70 miles per hour. The lawsuit says the two men were working for The Weather Channel at the time and “had a history of reckless driving." The Weather Channel has a “culture of putting these guys out in the field untrained, and whatever the cost is, they want them to get the story,” said the mom's attorney. The Weather Channel said in a statement that it could not comment on pending litigation.
