Thom Brennaman resigns from Chicago Reds and Fox Sports Ohio one month after using an anti-gay slur on air

Brennaman, who was sidelined from NFL on Fox games this season for his use of the slur, said in a statement he was stepping away from broadcasting but hopes to be given another chance in the future. He added that he was "so very sorry" for his use of the anti-gay slur.
