Thomas Dekker has no hard feelings five years after Bryan Fuller outed him as gay

The Roku Channel's upcoming Swimming with Sharks marks the first gay role for the Heroes and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles alum since he came out in 2017. Dekker confirmed he's gay after Fuller essentially outed him without naming him during a speech at Outfest. Looking back, Dekker insists he has no hard feelings toward Fuller. “Everyone has their journey and I hated that mine was taken away from me in a way,” says Dekker, who has been married to husband Jesse Haddock for five years. “But it was also this kind of a weird fucked up blessing because it opened the door for me to just be fully who I am.”
