Thomas Sadoski to play L.A. mayor on CBS' Tommy

Sadoski is staying at CBS three months after the network canceled his comedy Life in Pieces. He'll co-star opposite Edie Falco on the drama about Los Angeles' first female police chief, taking over the mayor role played by David Fierro in the pilot.
