The Oscar-winning actor will star opposite Leslie Mann in the 10-episode thriller drama series based on Naomi Alderman’s feminist sci-fi book. Robbins will play Daniel Dandon, the self-righteous and self-important Republican governor of Washington state and constant thorn in the side of Mann's Margot Cleary-Lopez, the Democratic Mayor of Seattle. Robbins takes over the role from Wilson, who was cast last February but had to exit due to coronavirus production delays. Robbins' last TV series roles were on Hulu's Castle Rock in 2019 and HBO's Here and Now in 2018.
