Turner & Hooch gets Reginald VelJohnson to reprise his movie role

VelJohnson, who played the partner of Tom Hanks' Turner in the 1989 movie, will recur as the same character, who is now mayor. VelJohnson is the first actor from the movie to reprise his role on the series -- Hanks isn't expected to appear on the Disney+ series.
