Disney+ is "a good product, they have done a nice job,” but its strongest appeal is to younger audiences, meaning "it's not that deep," while HBO Max wants to go broader to target the whole family, WarnerMedia CEO John Stankey said at the John Stankey tells the UBS Global TMT Conference in New York, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He added that Disney+ has half the content "we have at half the price, and we [will] have twice the content we currently have at the same price" of the current HBO. He also said HBO Max will have a "compelling price proposition."
