Whoopi Goldberg boards Stephen King's The Stand as Mother Abigail

The View co-host is one of five new additions to the CBS All Access Stephen King miniseries, along with Jovan Adepo, Owen Teague, Brad William Henke and Daniel Sunjata. Goldberg will play Mother Abagail, a 108-year-ol prophet who receives visions from God and guides survivors of the superflu. ALSO: Alexander Skarsgard is reportedly joining The Stand as the demonic Randall Flagg.
