"You attack my family, it’s gonna be the last thing you ever do," says Harrison Ford's Jacob Dutton in the trailer for 1923.
The Yellowstone spin-off, which also stars Helen Mirren and Timothy Dalton in leading roles, sees the Duttons of years past go up against Donald Whitfield (Dalton) to stake their claim of the valley. "The range war's already started," Jacob says, as they prepare to hold onto their land by any means necessary.
"Greed will be the thing that kills us all," Mirren's Cara Dutton warns. Per the official synopsis, the series "will introduce a new generation of Duttons led by patriarch Jacob and matriarch Cara," exploring "the early 20th century, when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition, and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home."
Robert Patrick, Darren Mann, Jerome Flynn, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, and Aminah Nieves also star in the series, helmed by Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan.
1923 premieres on Paramount+ December 18.
